Seaborn AS er en betydelig distributør av norsk laks og fjordørret. On this day 25 years ago, the company was born 🎉 As you probably have noticed by now, we are quite proud of our 25-year anniversary 🙂

Seaborn was founded by family-owned fish farmers along the Norwegian coast – with one clear ambition: to stand stronger together (and we have been doing exactly that ever since).

Built by the industry, for the industry, Seaborn is still owned by the same type of companies that founded us. That closeness to owners and production, short decision paths and high ex*****on power remain at the core of who we are.

Over 25 years, we have grown through trust, solid relationships and the ability to deliver – also when markets are complex and conditions change. Our role is straightforward: to ensure that salmon and trout reaches international customers in a safe, efficient and professional way.

Most of all, Seaborn is shaped by people. Our team, our owners, our partners and our customers have been the foundation from day one – and are still a vital part of our identity.

A massive and heartfelt thank you to our important partners and owners - the experience, knowledge and trust built over these years give us a solid platform for continued development.

Ciao Milano — grazie! 🇮🇹

After a week in Italy, we feel the Italian spirit. Great conversations, new opportunities, and valuable time with customers, partners, and colleagues across the industry.

We also spent time in retail — and it’s clear: the category is evolving. Strong presence, new formats, and real growth potential. Italy continues to develop as a key salmon market. Consumption has grown steadily over time, driven by trends like sushi and poké. Italy remains one of the key markets for Norwegian salmon, with solid and positive development. TuttoFood once again proved to be an important meeting place for our sector — incontri, energia, alla grande🐟

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our stand — and to all we met during the week. This is what moves us forward. A special thanks to the Norwegian Seafood Council and Team Norway Italia for an important and relevant seminar alongside the fair.

What a fantastic way to kick off our Barcelona week!

We started on Sunday by celebrating Seaborn’s 25th anniversary with our important partners and Seaborners🥂
A great evening filled with good people, laughter, strong conversations — and plenty of reasons to raise a glass to the journey so far.

From Tuesday, Seafood Expo Global took over, with days packed full of meetings, catch‑ups, and real engagement across the value chain. For us, connecting producers with global markets, Barcelona once again proved to be the perfect place to exchange ideas — with customers, partners, owners, industry colleagues, and policymakers — and reflect on market access and the conditions needed to compete on a strong, level playing field worldwide.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to meet, talk, and celebrate with us.

A great start to the celebrations — and an even better start to the next 25 years 💙🐟✨

We recently celebrated our anniversary in Barcelona together with owners, customers, partners, seaborners and friends – a great reminder of what Seaborn is built on: strong relationships and close collaboration.

Seaborn was founded by family-owned fish farmers along the Norwegian coast, with one clear goal: to stand stronger together.
25 years later, that foundation and ownership is still at the core of who we are.

Now we’re kicking off the seafood show season – and with it, new films, new marketing and renewed energy for dialogue.

We’re heading to Barcelona for the Seafood Expo — and this one means a lot to us.🐟
Along the way to Barcelona, we’ve been on the road — visiting some of our most important partners, owners and suppliers, from the north and west, capturing moments, people and places that shape who we are.
