Discussion on Technology Knowledge Sharing
A productive discussion on technology knowledge sharing was recently held on 14 July 2026 in the main conference hall of the Faculty of Technology, South Eastern University of Sri Lanka, with the participation of officers from the Small Enterprise Development (SED) Division, Addalaichenai.
The discussion focused on strengthening collaboration between the university and the SED Division by leveraging the Faculty's expertise in technological development, modern technological innovations, packaging regulations, packaging methods, and innovation practices. The participants also discussed the importance of conducting programmes that would inspire and support entrepreneurs in the region. It was mutually agreed that these knowledge-sharing and guidance initiatives would be implemented in the future through proper planning and with the necessary approvals.
Representing the Faculty of Technology were Dean Mr. Majeed and Senior Lecturer Ms. Pradeepa. Representing the Small Enterprise Development (SED) Division, Addalaichenai were M.M. Sithy Naleera , M.I.L. Fathima Beevi and P.Nasafee (Do). The meeting was also attended by Mr. Farzan A.R., CEO of Serendib Organic Holdings (Pvt) Ltd, who served as the coordinator of the event.
