This cake has become one of my MOST popular dressings to date and will continue into 2027 too!!! It’s such a gorgeous cake and suits most venues, especially venues like and two of the lost gorgeous venues I’ve had the pleasure to deliver and set up wedding cakes in 🙏

Can we normalise not having all the answers when you’re planning a wedding?

Because behind the beautiful Pinterest boards and engagement photos, so many brides are quietly wondering:

✨ Am I spending too much?

✨ Am I spending too little?

✨ What if I choose the wrong cake?

✨ Why does everyone else seem to know exactly what they want?

Here’s what I’ve learned after working with couples:

Most brides aren’t looking for a cake……….

They’re looking for reassurance.

They want someone who will answer questions without making them feel silly.

Someone who’ll help them narrow down the options.

Someone who understands that wedding planning can feel exciting and overwhelming at the exact same time.

I’ve been there! We got married almost 10 years ago now and the questions I asked back then are still being asked my brides today. And what better than to ask someone who has been through the whole process themselves AND I’ve helped hundreds of brides over my last 10 years of experience within the wedding industry.

Some of last weeks beauties that left the kitchen 🥹

If you’re like me and you’ve been so busy this month that you haven’t even had a mom eat to reflect on all that you have achieved…. Take a moment to be grateful.

I’ll start…. And then you continue below in the comments 🤍 I’m very proud of number 8 ⬇️

This month I’m grateful for…

1. Being booked back to back that I barely got a day off
2. Trying new designs and not being afraid to try!
3. Bringing joy to peoples celebrations through cake 🎂
4. Getting amazing feedback from my clients
5. Meeting new wedding suppliers and not being afraid to branch out and meet new people
6. Juggle mom life with one of the busiest months of the year in my business
7. Celebrating 15 years of love with my ❤️
8. Standing firm in my worth and starting to feel the benefits to my business 🥹

May is well and truly in full swing🤍 Im barely getting time to capture every cake that leaves my kitchen, never mind posting on socials, but these ones made it to the grid 😂 which one is your fav? 🥰

The engagement cake is fast becoming a very popular design for me recently 🤍 I’ve even made a wedding cake with this very caption (photos yet to be posted 😂) Lots of communion cakes have left the kitchen this month too, and so many more this week. Im soo happy to be a part of everyone’s special celebrations 💖

I used my 6” round shaped kit for all of my tall chocolate biscuit cakes this month and I now cannot be without my heart shaped frost form!!! Absolute game changer!! I would be absolutely lost without it. And also my .stamp cake stamp tools to emboss the heart cake for the 50th birthday cake…I’d be lost without my cake tools from these amazing Irish brands.
