Bakes & Barbells started years ago as a little hobby running alongside an already pretty busy life. It didn’t even have a name back then, it was just me baking all the time, and people asking “do you sell these?” or “is this your job?” every time they tried something that I’d made 😅

Then I met my other half at the gym. As a qualified PT he’s always been aware of what he eats, but somehow those j***y, ultra-processed protein bars kept sneaking into our food shop every week. High protein, sure… but the flavours? The textures? The unpronounceable ingredients? No thanks.

So I started experimenting and making my own versions with the same protein hit, but with actual flavour and texture that didn’t feel like punishment food. That’s when my love of the gym and my love of baking finally collided… and Bakes&Barbells was born.

I can’t wait for you all to try what I’ve been working on.
