Pov: your wedding cake cutting moment looks like this…..

I don’t know who first started this long wedding cake trend with candles, but I’m loving it! Goodbye formality and hello drama, fun, romance and joy! The brilliant team Titley Green served up the cake straight away with everyone watching. Lemon, elderflower meringue cake on one side and contrasting sticky toffee pudding on the other!

Planning this cake with these two beautiful souls has been an absolute joy. Sophie and Ronan. I’m indebted to you for your feedback after the wedding, I’m still crying about it!

Our wedding cake was truly spectacular and the taste was absolutely amazing too. All of our guests commented on how beautiful our cake looked and how yummy it tasted, as well as our gluten free guest and the children (our youngest, Finley, couldn’t have eaten his any quicker if he tried)!

The cake worked so well with the fruit and cream served on the side and the finger slices served in the evening were devoured within seconds, which spoke volumes! We didn’t come home with any cake and that’s exactly how we wanted it to be because it meant that everyone thought it was unbelievably scrumptious, which it really really was. I can’t stop looking at everyone’s photos of it too, it’s a work of art, so stunning!

Because every cake deserves pink flowers….

May to mid June has brought so much edible flower joy from and I’m obsessed! I’m not sure why, but the marshmallowy mix of pinks and whites, is just so perfect to me.

Georgina has grown the most delicious selection of exquisite pink flowers this past month here’s just a few:

4 weddings with pink flowers and such beautiful feedback from you. So grateful. 🙏

1. Poppy & Geordie mainly had a mix of pansies and stocks with some pink forget me nots.
2. Hannah & James’ long, long sheet cake had every single pink edible flowers at the flower farm! They were so lucky because they got the last of the peonies too!

3. Stephanie & Des - delicate pale pink stocks, alyssum and the first cosmos looked so pretty

One third of Hannah and James’ cake was my zesty lemon and raspberry meringue cake. This was the middle section of the cake.

Two zesty Lemon and Greek yogurt cakes are soaked in lemon syrup then filled with lemon Swiss meringue buttercream and homemade raspberry compote and crushed homemade meringue. Then smothered in Swiss meringue and the most beautiful edible flowers from

When your bride sends over feedback from their wedding guests I’m the happiest cake maker ever!

The joy of the long sheet cake is that you can keep adding different flavoured sections to your cake by joining them in one beautiful creation. There’s no need for dowels just buttercream to ‘glue’ them together as seamlessly as possible.

They also had chocolate truffle and salted caramel with a cookie crumb and a white chocolate fudge and raspberry.
