Try to avoid cutting directly on the design on the plates - it may compromise the enamel. The porcelain paints state dishwasher friendly however I would recommend only washing by hand. It also states that you must no expose the paint to extreme temperatures (they have been oven baked at 160 so this clearly means anything significantly above this).
