Am I the Queen of Lambeth cakes? Absolutely not. Did I still pour my whole heart, soul, and a fair bit of neck pain into this design? You bet I did. Every cake teaches me something new, and that's the whole point.

Watch until the end for the bedazzle! 🤩✨

I absolutely love baking and decorating cakes, and when I knew I had a detailed lambeth piped design coming up, I made sure to practise first. I wanted to feel completely confident that I could create a real showstopper for someone's special celebration.

These are my two practice cakes. The first one never made it to anyone's celebration because I wasn't happy with the standard. If it doesn't meet my expectations, it doesn't leave my kitchen. The second one was a huge improvement and was gifted to my son's teacher.

They both took time, patience and plenty of practice, but that's all part of creating cakes I'm proud to put my name to.

How can anyone have something against pink? 💗 It's my favourite colour, and when it comes to cakes, pink buttercream just hits different. On Wednesdays, we wear pink... and our cakes do too. If you don't like pink, you can't sit with us. 😉🎂
