I made this cake for my beautiful friend Lynsey-Louise . I made it because she asked me to, because she loved my cakes. And no matter how poorly she was when I visited her, her first question was always "Have you brought cake?". She also loved sunflowers so there was nothing else I could decorate this cake with. She brightened up the world, just like a sunflower. She was an extraordinary woman who was kind, generous and funny.

All her friends and family came to celebrate her yesterday evening. She had written her own eulogy and it was honest and funny and so perfectly Lynsey. There were photos and music, laughter and tears. We shared memories and wished we could have made more. She was so loved and we hope we did you proud my lovely xx

It was red velvet inside. It's the first time I've put a balloon decoration on a cake. It looked amazing but one word of warning, make sure you take the balloon out before you light the candles 😂🎉💥
