I’ve made the decision not to open this Friday as it’s still forecasting scorchio temperatures! A bit too warm for the bakes to be out in The Bake Box. I’ll be open Saturday and Sunday as usual though, so pop down then, we may have all cooled off a bit with any luck!!

So… I was recently asked by a customer to make a flapjack pizza for her birthday instead of a cake. 🍕😂

My first thought was… “A flapjack WHAT?!” 🤔😂

But once she explained the idea, I was like HELL YES, I’m making that! 🙌

And honestly, it was very up my street. A giant flapjack base, loaded up with chocolatey goodness and all the tasty toppings… basically a pizza, but better! 😍🍫
What a brilliant alternative to a birthday cake too! 🎂➡️🍕

So if cake isn’t your thing, but flapjack absolutely IS… consider this your sign. 😂

You don’t always need a massive showstopper of a cake to make an impact…this little chocolate cake was whipped up this morning to take to a friends BBQ, baked inbetween trips to the supermarket, the butchers, walking the dogs and general Saturday morning going’s on…thank goodness I’m now pretty speedy at making a cake…although this chocolate sponge does take 1hr 30mins in the oven! 👀

Making sure that each brownie gets a whole Oreo inside 🤩…These are definitely fudgy, dense brownies made with real chocolate and not just cocoa…no dry crumbly brownies here! 😋
