We were in Malta not long ago ✈️.
It was actually his birthday trip, and only now have I finally made this birthday cake for him.

While we were there, we picked up a pink prickly-pear liqueur. 🍾
It had a melon-like sweetness, but on its own the flavour felt a little too rich for us.
So I turned it into small, light jelly pieces and tucked them into the layers of the cake —
just enough to freshen everything up and bring back memories of the trip.

The cake & cream are both our favourite matcha 💚,
with soft and chewy milk mochi inside 🤍.
The pink outer layer is a ruby chocolate crunch 🩷 —
naturally sweet and tangy, and something I knew would pair beautifully with matcha.

The balance of textures and flavours in this cake
is also at the heart of Matcha+ —
letting matcha meet different elements and quietly support each other.

Now that it’s February,
it’s a belated birthday cake 🎂,
and also a just-right Valentine’s cake 💝.

有留意我們前一陣子去了馬爾他嗎?✈️
那其實是他的生日旅行,只是一直到現在,才補做了這個生日蛋糕給他。

在當地買了一支粉紅色的仙人掌果酒 🍾,
帶一點蜜瓜香,單喝時覺得味道有點太濃。
我把它做成輕巧的小啫喱,藏在蛋糕夾層裡,
讓整體更清新,也帶有旅行的回憶。

蛋糕和忌廉都是我們喜歡的濃抹茶💚,
內層還有軟 Q 的牛奶麻糬🤍。
外層的粉紅色,是天然酸甜的 Ruby Chocolate 脆皮🩷,和抹茶很搭。

這樣的口感與味道層次,
也是 Matcha+ 一直在做的事——
讓抹茶和不同元素融合、互相襯托。

2 月了,
是遲來的生日蛋糕🎂,
也是一個剛剛好的情人節蛋糕💝。

A small creation inspired by my matcha Christmas tree 🌿

很開心之前做的限定版 🎄 抹茶聖誕樹,得到大家的喜愛 🥰
I was really happy that the limited edition matcha Christmas tree I made before was so well loved.

所以我保留了它的一些元素,延伸成一款任何時間都適合的作品。
So I kept some of its elements and slowly developed them into a new piece that feels suitable for any time of the year.

同樣有 🍵 香濃抹茶忌廉、💚 軟綿抹茶戚風、🤍 軟 Q 麻糬和 🌰 特濃抹茶蒙布朗,
It still has 🍵 rich matcha cream, 💚 soft matcha chiffon, 🤍 chewy mochi and 🌰 an intense matcha Mont Blanc.
但這次把撻皮換成 🤎 香酥鬆的 crumble(不是餅碎啊),
But this time, the tart base is replaced with a 🤎 light, buttery crumble (not cookie crumbs).
整體口感變得更輕盈,也多了一份層次,
The overall texture feels lighter, with more layers of contrast,

吃起來是完全不同的感覺 ✨

Over the past year, we’ve created many gentle moments worth remembering.
打造了屬於 Matcha+ 的小角色:
Coco the Madeleine、Toto the Tart、Basia the Basque,以及 Nagi the Deer。
We brought the Matcha+ characters to life: Coco the Madeleine, Toto the Tart, Basia the Basque, and Nagi the Deer.

一步一步把抹茶塔、焙茶塔、巴斯克(抹茶/焙茶/伯爵茶/巧克力/黑芝麻)、
蒙布朗塔、抹茶蒙布朗塔、抹茶聖誕塔、抹茶聖誕樹⋯⋯
從發想、試驗,到不斷調整,慢慢變成自己真正滿意的作品。
Step by step, we shaped our tarts and Basque cheesecakes—from matcha and hojicha to Earl Grey, chocolate, and black sesame—along with Mont Blanc and our Christmas creations, refining each idea until it became something we could truly be proud of.

我們也走進不同市集,第一次在攤位前親自與大家相遇——
看到笑容、聽見回饋,又認識其他店主,這些記憶都非常珍貴。
We also stepped into different markets, meeting many of you in person for the first time—sharing smiles, listening to feedback, and connecting with fellow makers. These moments are deeply treasured.

這一年真的很充實,也很感謝一路支持我們的每一位 💚
It has been a fulfilling year, and we’re truly grateful to everyone who has supported us 💚
一直以來,我想做的,不只是甜點,
而是帶著用心、細膩與溫度的作品,希望每一款,都值得被記住。
From the beginning, our hope has never been just to make desserts, but to create something thoughtful, delicate, and warm—pieces worth remembering.

最近大家可能覺得這裡好像安靜了一點。
並不是因為發生了什麼特別的事,而是我希望把節奏放慢一些,
留更多時間給生活、給自己,也留給創作與真正喜歡的事。
Some of you may have noticed things feeling a little quieter lately—not because anything happened, but because we chose to slow the pace and make more space for life, for ourselves, and for the things we truly love to create.

接下來會暫停「固定供應」的切件蛋糕與杯裝甜品,
專心研發與嘗試,希望這個品牌能繼續以最真誠、最理想的樣子前進。
For now, we’ll be pausing our regular offering of sliced cakes and dessert cups, so we can focus on developing and exploring new ideas, allowing the brand to move forward in the most sincere and thoughtful way.

但請放心,我們不會消失。
只是換成一個更自在、更專注的步伐繼續走下去。
之後仍會不定期分享作品與近況,

A tiny matcha Christmas tart,
quietly holding its little green stars. ⭐️
Fruity, warm, softly spiced,
with a hint of liqueur —
and a matcha shell like winter morning light.

一個小小的抹茶聖誕塔 💚
托着幾顆抹茶小星星,
果香飽滿,帶着溫暖的香料與淡淡的酒香,
塔皮像冬天清晨的微光般酥脆。
