Number 14 - a 3 tiered off white sugarpaste cake decorated with Katy Sue Designs Cakes moulds to create this vintage Lambeth effect which was delivered and set up in the very beautiful Peckforton Castle last month. Thanks for trusting me with it Yvonne!

2 down, 15 to go….this beauty caused absolute MAYHEM! Delivered and set up on the hottest day of the year, and delivery wasn’t just round the corner either 🙈
But the stress was totally worth it - my customer’s Mum ordered this for her daughter Abi, all the way from Australia! Talk about trust 🥰 (thanks Karen xx)
You can’t tell from the image, but this was a natural white buttercream 3 tiered cake, very simply done as requested by Abi, and decorated with a selection of plump Blackberries, raspberries, blueberries, strawberries and sliced figs.

Following on from my last post - 1 wedding cake down and 16 to go - and what a pretty one this is! Sage green with touches of blush pink for Jasmine and Andy who married in Saturday at Rainfield Hall. I caught a glimpse of the newly married couple and they both looked gorgeous!
Thanks for trusting me with your cake Jasmine and wishing you both huge congratulations!

What can I say? The last 16 years have been the best in my career. I’ve achieved more than I ever could’ve imagined possible. Completely self taught, I started Delicious by Linzi with very little experience and built it from the ground up. I did it because I love it…I love the creative side, and I love my customers! Every single one of you who has trusted me to make your celebration that little bit better, with one of my cakes.
But things have changed over the last couple of years. I opened my cake supply shop 2.5 years ago and it has evolved so much, that I know now that that is where my heart lies.
Cake making is HARD work! It’s long hours, bending and stretching, and my back isn’t handling it like it used to.
I have 16 wedding cakes booked in between now and July next year - and every single one will be given the love and attention that they deserve, so if you’re booked in, please don’t panic! But that’s it! I won’t be taking any more orders going forward.
I will end with THANK YOU! Thank you to all of you - all of you that have ordered from me, liked a post, shared a story, cheered me on. I appreciate all of you!

A tiered cupcake stand with a cutting cake on the top can be a GREAT option for your wedding - whether you’re catering for a large or small number of guests! And there are lots of options when it comes to design….and FLAVOURS!
I offer stand hire and you can also choose between a silver or gold base plate for the tiered stand, or a drop crystal or fully clear acrylic stand for the tiered stand to sit on.
As you can see from all the images above, colour can easily be added depending on your colour combinations and can match your event decor perfectly.

Pretty vintage vibes with this soft powder blue and rose pink 3 tiered cake.
This is an 8,6 and 4” stack which is perfect if you’re catering for a smaller crowd (it will feed up to 50 guests)
This could be done in any colour combination too - I think it would look pretty regardless of the colours!

A 3 tiered Celestial dream for Evie & David who celebrated their wedding on Tuesday at in Liverpool.
They chose chocolate, chocolate & Caramel, and Strawberry & white chocolate for their flavours.
This cake started out as a plain white stacked cake and I then airbrushed it in various shades of blue to create an ombré effect, applied silver lustred star garlands and then added a few puffs of .baked.studio ultra sparkle lustre to give it an extra bit of magic!
The ‘clouds’ were created using soft toy stuffing and the effect was exactly what I had been aiming for.

3 tiered wedding cake with looped ribbon effect, lustre, a torn edge, clear acrylic spacer and pretty florals for David & Ryan who celebrated their wedding reception at on the 25th April.
They supplied their own topper and I found it extremely tricky to get a decent photograph of the cake with their topper, which is why a couple of the shots don’t include it.
And another fab acrylic charm by for the front of the middle tier.
