A message from Cake Shed 💔

Today, we had a young visitor at our Cake Shed. His dad was waiting by the road while the boy, wearing light brown trousers and a dark hoodie, took a brownie and, unfortunately, left without paying.

By an unfortunate coincidence for him, my husband saw him carrying the brownie in his hand as he walked past.

Our external CCTV camera has recorded the incident clearly, and we have footage showing exactly what happened.

I honestly find it difficult to describe how I feel. 💔 It may be just a brownie to some people, but behind every treat in our Cake Shed there is time, hard work, the cost of ingredients, and a lot of love and dedication.

We are inviting the young boy and his dad to come and pay for the brownie. We would much rather resolve this situation calmly and respectfully.

To the boy and his dad: you know who you are, and you are welcome to come and put this right.

We hope this can be an opportunity to do the right thing. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who supports our little Cake Shed and appreciates the work that goes into every single treat. 🍰
