You can’t celebrate 10 years of the Highland Children’s Unit with a Colin the Caterpillar and a packet of candles.

So naturally… Nessie got the call 🎂

We were really proud to create this cake for NHS Highland and The Archie Foundation Highland as part of the Highland Children’s Unit’s 10th birthday celebrations last week 💛

A massive congratulations to everyone involved over the last decade. The care, support and difference the unit has made to children and families across the Highlands is something incredibly special.

Safe to say the cake disappeared almost as quickly as Nessie usually does 👀

Guys have we made it? Gooley tickley fluffy magic makes us certainly think so… thoughts on us renaming our dream rings to that? 🫣

SCOTTISH BAKER OF THE YEAR 2026 🍩🎉

Not only were we crowned Scottish Bakers of the Year once again last night, but after previously becoming the first bakery in Scotland to win the title twice, Harry Gow has now become the first bakery in Scotland to win it three times.

For a family business built in the Highlands, that means more than we can put into words.

Behind every award is a team of people who put their heart and soul into Harry Gow every single day. From the early mornings and late nights, to baking from scratch, serving customers, decorating cakes, making doughnuts, packing vans and everything in between, these awards belong to every single person across the business.

Dad built something incredibly special, and there’s a real pride in seeing all five of his children continue the legacy, values and standards that Harry Gow was built on all those years ago, alongside the wider team who help bring that to life every single day.

To our customers, thank you. Whether you’ve been coming to us for generations or only discovered us recently, your support is the reason we get to do what we love every day.

And to all of the other bakeries and businesses recognised last night, congratulations as well. Scotland is full of incredible baking talent and we know just how much hard work goes into every product, every counter and every early morning.

We’re incredibly proud. And incredibly grateful 🤎🤎🤎🤎

Thank you to Scottish Bakers for an incredible evening 👏

Big day tomorrow 🏆

We’re incredibly proud to be heading to the Scottish Bakers Awards 2026 as finalists across a number of categories, including the big one… Scottish Baker of the Year.

From the early morning starts, to the people behind the counters, ovens, mixers and delivery vans, these nominations are a reflection of the hard work that goes into the bakery every single day.

No matter what happens tomorrow, we’re already unbelievably proud of our whole team 🤎

And of course, a huge good luck to all of the other bakers, teams and businesses attending tomorrow as well. Scotland’s baking industry is full of incredible talent and it’s brilliant to see so many people recognised 👏🍞🥧🍩

The Strawberry Tart has returned. And yes, things have already escalated.

We’ve seen people do a full lap of the shop before committing.
We’ve seen “I’ll just get one” turn into “better make that four.”
We’ve even seen someone stand in silence, just… taking it in.

But can you blame them?

Fresh cream. Proper Scottish strawberries. That glossy, don’t-talk-to-me-right-now finish.

If you know, you know.
If you don’t… today feels like a good day to find out 🍓

Mental Health Awareness Week 💛

We’ve been taking a moment to look back at our time supporting Mikeysline, and the £15,000 raised together with our community, something we’re incredibly proud of.

But it doesn’t stop there.

For us, it’s about making sure that support continues day to day. We’ve recently started working with NHS Highland to look at Mental Health First Aid training for our team, giving people the confidence to spot when someone might need support and know how to respond.

In this video, Allana shares more about the work Mikeysline do and why it matters so much. As a grassroots charity with no statutory funding, they support over 1,000 people every month, reminding us that .

Support matters. Conversations matter. And looking out for each other really does make a difference 💛

Dreams do come true…

sometimes at 37,000ft somewhere over Morocco.

One of our Dream Rings made the trip from the Highlands to Newcastle,
and then straight off to Fuerteventura for lunch with a Jet2.com & Jet2holidays pilot.

We always said they were light…

just didn’t expect them to start flying.
