We had a watch party for our Dragons’ Den episode airing, and afterwards we were completely overwhelmed by all the positive comments and messages.

When this was filmed, I think I was still in shock about the whole thing. It still feels so surreal. It touched me sooo deeply hearing how many people felt emotional watching, and could feel just how much it meant to me receiving offers from two epic Dragons 🐉✨🤍

Synchronicity Got Me Here 🪄

Last Thursday I told you I’m going on Dragon’s Den. Here’s the story of how it actually happened! 🤍

At the start of last year, they emailed me. I ignored it. I’d just hit the lowest point in my business and had quietly decided I was done.

The one thing I did for myself was book a retreat in Mexico as a thirtieth birthday gift, just to get clarity. There, I met a man who turned out to own an ice cream factory half an hour from my house. He offered to produce Moonji that summer.

The night I flew home, my friend Corina told me I should apply to Dragon’s Den. I told her I’d just gotten the email. Every hurdle after that solved itself the same strange way, right down to the friend who handed me his kitchen when I had no factory for filming day.

None of it was planned. All of it was necessary.

If you’re sitting on something right now, you don’t need the whole plan. Just take the next true step. The door opens when you need it to.

I’ve been carrying the biggest secret of my life for the past year, and it’s finally time to share the news 💫

Moonji is going on Dragons’ Den, next Thursday 3rd September at 8pm on BBC One 🎉😱

I can’t quite believe I’m typing this, as it still feels incredibly surreal…a mix of extreme excitement and nerves.

I started this business with a clear vision of wanting to create something that went against the standard food industry norms; a delicious treat, made with nourishing ingredients that were actually better for people and planet. I was horrified at the rubbish that goes into most ice creams on the market and knew that a better alternative needed to be out there.

It came straight from the heart. It’s been a long, winding journey. Incredibly painful at times, but all worth it to get me to this place inside of myself, where I feel like everything and anything is now possible.

I was going to quit last year, THANK GOD I didn’t. I replied to the BBC producers, and the rest you’ll have to tune in to find out 👀

Thank you to everyone for being a part of this journey, I hope I make you proud 🤍
