Matt has been baking for over 10 years and has launched in March 2021 Mattaroons, his first go at selling his baked goods. Matt works full time for the NHS in Swindon and in his spare time bakes lots of different treats which can now be purchased. Keep an eye on his time line to see what offers he has coming up. Oreo Cookie Dough Brownies Recipe 😍

Oreo have released a brand new Oreo flavour here in the UK and it’s soooo good, Cookie Dough and I’m obsessed, they taste so good, I knew I had to turn them into a delicious bake, so say hello to a brand new creation my Oreo Cookie Dough Brownies! A rich fudgy brownie with chocky chips & chunks of Oreo Dough Brownies, then a homemade edible choc chip cookie dough layer on top, covered in a silky chocolate ganache & sprinkles of more Oreos & choc chips!
These are insanely good, fudgy, crunchy, sweet & slightly salty, a texture & taste sensation 😋

I bake cakes from scratch all the time… but does a spectacular cake REALLY have to start from scratch? 👀

I was challenged by Food Thoughts UK to take their new Beautiful Chocolate Cake Mix and Velvety Chocolate Flavour Frosting and turn them into something completely my own… so obviously I had to go for Chocolate Orange 🍊🍫
The cake mix only needs oil + water, giving you a really easy, reliable starting point, and then you get to have all the fun with the flavours, fillings and decoration.

I added orange zest and extract to the chocolate sponge, made a fresh orange curd & orange sugar syrup, transformed the chocolate frosting with even more orange, then finished everything with a chocolate orange ganache, Terry’s Chocolate Orange segments, dried orange slices & a sprinkle of orange zest.

And honestly… I think this is what I love about the idea behind the new range. You don’t have to make every single element from scratch to make something you’re really proud of. ❤️🍰 And no one will believe you when you tell them this all started from a cake box mix!

Whether you’re a confident baker looking for a reliable starting point, or you’re just getting into baking and want a little helping hand, the idea is the same: spectacular cake anyone can make. ✨
