Week 3 of the farmer market 👩🏼‍🌾
This week I made a loss of £44.85 🫠
BUT there were definitely some useful lessons.
The pink shortbread were the clear winner, chocolate was very much not the vibe and the weather had a huge impact on how busy the market is.
Total profit after 3 weeks: -£71.59
So we’re still going backwards, but I’m learning what actually sells, tweaking what I bring each week and hopefully we can drag that number into the positive.

EXETER FARMERS MARKET WEEK 2
Well… we actually made a bit less than the week before! This was NOT the plan, but honestly it was such a hot day most people stayed at home. The bakes we took worked really well (especially the 🥕cake) and if the market had been busier we definitely would have made more money. But it does leave me wondering… how many weeks will it be until we turn a profit?!

We made a loss at last week’s Exeter Farmers market but you have us so many good suggestions for which bakes might be more popular. So we’ve devised a short menu of bakes for this week’s market and I hope they will sell!
The farmer’s market is in central Exeter at the bottom of the high street 9am - 1pm
