I'm Laura Abraham, and I've been making cakes for friends and family since my boys were very young and I started Hand Crafted Cupcakes in 2011. I opened our dedicated cake kitchen in Market Street, Ely in 2014, we produce bespoke cakes and cupcakes. We particularly specialise in character modeling and figures. My youngest son Ben joined me in January 2020 and brought even more modelling creativity

to the business, adding more capacity and skills. Ben has a degree in games art and specialises in all 3d modelling. Together we design and create highly personalised cakes and cupcakes for birthdays and all special occasions. We have a dedicated cake kitchen and collection shop area at 38 Market Street, Ely, Cambridgeshire, UK. Hoodwinked themed cake for Joseph’s birthday. Featuring a 2.5d hand crafted sugarpaste model of Japeth the goat and a speech bubble with his favourite quote. All on a vanilla with raspberry cake.

A cake of two halves for Wiktoria and Ethan’s wedding day.
One side of the three tier cake lord of the rings themed with a scene from each of the films in the trilogy, created in sugarpaste. The other half more traditional sugarpaste floral and flourish design divided by fondant curtains. 68 hours just on the decoration.
