So this was the first order to officially be baked in my new shop, in my new oven.

My oven at home is gas, and honestly, it's got, lets call it, character. I had finally figured our the hot spots and cold spots and rotation times. Cooking in my new oven is like a luxury holiday 🤣 It even has a "moist" (ew) setting for my cakes.

I absolutely loved this order which was 4 different flavoured bento cakes. It has however taken me all day and I now have nothing baked for the shop tomorrow which opens at 1pm.

We're calling this a "soft launch" but really its my "I have no idea what I'm doing launch." Hope to see you there 👀

But can I think of one single thing to bake for The Shed or the Shop this weekend? Absolutely not. The panic is real. The imposter syndrome is real.

And I haven't even actually officially announced the shop opening date 🤣 like I'm scared people might actually turn up or something 🤦‍♀️

Thanks for all the love and support, messages and comments. I've known some of you my whole life and some of you for 5 minutes and a quick chat at the door, so I'm grateful to each and everyone of you that took time out of your day to wish me a Happy Birthday.

It has been a very happy one. 37 years old and on the eve of making a 20 year old dream come true 😍

Really enjoyed the challenge of a different style of Bento Box. The customer requested daffodils. I'd only ever attempted to pipe them once before.

This was a lemon drizzle Large Bento Box, which includes a mini 5 inch cake, and 8 cupcakes, for £30.
