Just a quick hello to let you know there are just over 5 days left on our sale of Taste the Menu before it goes back to regular price.
Written by Katie, Taste the Menu Vol 2 contains a mix of local history, recipes from our menu, tips and hints peppered with the updated journey of Derby Pyclets throughout the city up to the present day and also contains our product (adapted to small batch for home use).
The recipe book starts with the history of pyclets and oatcakes in Derby, follows our journey around the city including the Market Hall, Eagle Market, Covid Outdoor, Sadler Gate, the Heritage Centre and todays model and then takes you through each of our signature recipes from how to make the perfect eggs benedict to the recipe for our famous welsh rarebit.
The book includes a few of Katie’s favourites that didn’t make it to the menu and some of our specials from along the journey and how to make our homestyle pancakes just right all written with Katie’s trademark chatter as if you were sat in the parlour being told how your meal was being served.
You can purchase for yourself or as a gift, just add gift instructions to the basket and we’ll pop on a ribbon before delivery and Katie will sign the book with the message of your choice.
