What started as a normal day at work, ended up being a very long day!
The plane unfortunately broke in Tenerife and could not be fixed, so ended up staying in the airport for 8 hours before we flew home as passengers to Gatwick, then got a taxi to Southend. I was out the house from 5am-2am,
But I still managed to make this cake which was due for collection at 10am! Its a very stressful job when things go wrong, and the thought of letting cake customers down too is not nice. Now for a rest day 😴

Saturday night baking - its been a while!
This summer has proved really challenging to keep ontop of Perry On the Cake. Flying has been VERY busy, and I have needed my days off to recover before the next week begins! Apologies to anyone who i have not responded to, or not been able to fit in. Work is quietening down now, so please message if you'd like to get booked in. (I wont respond tonight as up at 4am) thanks all ###
