Hello everyone,

The next batch of Trompe L'oeil fruit will be on Saturday, September 12th.

​This time, the available flavours will be:
▪️​Mango
▪️​Apple
▪️​Pear
▪️Coffee

Price: £45 for a box of 6 (Each box will contain one of each fruit, plus two duplicates)
To make a reservation, please send me a private message on the Baked by Nicoleta page.
Pickup is available from CM2 6ES.

What a beautiful autumn day and what a lovely place to visit. Unfortunately, the palace was not open for visits today, but the gardens were absolutely gorgeous—we promise to return.

I've been asked what exactly the white part of the Trompe-l'œil fruits is (especially in the apple).
Well, that white part is an absolutely delicious vanilla Bavarian cream (bavarois), made with vanilla caviar extracted from Mexican vanilla beans.
Every layer of these fruits plays an essential role in the final dessert and the lingering aftertaste after they're enjoyed.

Making this set from scratch was such a fun challenge! 😊
Funny enough, the boat I was most intimidated by ended up being the fastest piece to make. I originally planned to film the modeling process, but my hands were covered like a real painter’s, and the mess completely took over the kitchen table and counters. 🤣🙈
