The mess washes away… but the memories don’t 💛

This week has been full of:
✨ Confidence building
✨ Exploring
✨ Imaginary play
✨ Problem solving
✨ Giggles
✨ Friendship

Sometimes messy play looks chaotic from the outside… but underneath all the splashing, scooping and muddy puddles, there is so much learning happening 🌈

And honestly? Watching children simply enjoy being children will always be my favourite thing ✨

Mess Fest has officially begun and oh my goodness… the children have LOVED it already 💛

This week is all about our favourite kind of play:

💦 Water everywhere
🌈 Sensory chaos
🚗 Car wash fun
🥣 Gloop splashing
🚧 Construction play
🍦 Mud kitchen cooking
🧊 Ice exploration
…and all the messy magic in between ✨

With this heat, i’ve added lots of extra water play to help keep everybody cool while they explore, create and play their own way ☀️

Watching the children fully immerse themselves in the mess, laughter and imagination is honestly the best part of my job 💛

✨ PRIVATE SESSIONS UPDATE ✨

I honestly didn’t expect the response to private messy play sessions to be quite so amazing… thank you SO much 💛

At the moment, all private session spaces are now fully booked for summer and I’ve made the decision to pause any new bookings until September.

As exciting as it is, I also want to make sure I’m protecting the calm, personal experience that Creative Rainbow Explorers is all about — and making sure I don’t take on too much behind the scenes too ✨

Private bookings will reopen in September and I’ll share all the details closer to the time.

🎈✨ 5 YEARS OF MESSY PLAY MAGIC ✨🎈

What a week it’s been 💛

From disco ball water play and party animals… to jelly, bubbles, birthday fun and LOTS of mess — we’ve celebrated 5 years of Creative Rainbow Explorers in the best way possible 🌈

This week has felt so special.
Watching children laugh, explore, create, make friends and simply enjoy being little will always be the reason I do this ✨

To think this little idea I started 5 years ago has become such a huge part of so many families’ lives honestly means the world to me 🥹

Thank you for every class booked, every photo shared, every recommendation, every kind message and for trusting me with your little ones week after week 💛

I’ll never stop being grateful for this beautiful community we’ve created together 🌈

Here’s to 5 years of mess… and many more to come ✨

Small win of the week ✨

Today I did the quickest turnaround EVER between sessions 🤣

In just 30 minutes I:
✔ cleaned up
✔ reset the room
✔ restocked
✔ got everything ready for the afternoon session

Honestly… I felt unstoppable 😂

Definitely been channeling “Sort Your Life Out” energy this week and suddenly becoming a woman on a mission 💪🤣

BUT to keep things real…
about an hour later I cried over parenting, got overwhelmed and escaped to Home Bargains 🤦‍♀️🤣

Please tell me I’m not the only one who swings between “I’ve absolutely got my life together” and “I need a wander round Home Bargains immediately”

End of the week vibes ✨💛

What a special week this has been.

The OG trays, the nostalgia, the memories, the chaos 😂 and most importantly… seeing the children fully throwing themselves into the play just like always.

Weeks like this remind me exactly why I started Creative Rainbow Explorers in the first place 🥹

Thank you for another week of messy magic, support, laughter and memories made. I’ll never stop being grateful for every single family that walks through my doors 💛

Running your own business can very quickly become your whole life if you let it.

Your brain is always switched on.
There’s always something to plan, clean, reply to, create or think about.

So over the years I’ve really learnt how important it is to have little things outside of work that help me switch off and reset ✨

For me, that looks like getting out for a walk with a podcast on and some fresh air, slowing my brain down for a little while. Painting has always been another one — I think creativity has always been part of who I am, even outside of messy play. And then there’s getting my nails done by , the brighter and more colourful the better 😂 honestly it’s pure dopamine for me.

They might seem like little things, but they really help me feel like me again sometimes 💛

5 years ago, I took a leap into the unknown… ✨

Back then, Creative Rainbow Explorers was just an idea in my head.
A huge dream, a car packed to the brim, and a lot of “what ifs”.

There have been moments where I wanted to give up.
Moments I questioned myself.
Moments where balancing motherhood, work and life felt impossible.

But somehow… I kept going 💛

And now?
5 years later, I look around at the families I’ve met, the friendships made, the support around me and all the memories created through messy play… and I honestly feel so proud.

This week is all about the OG’s.
The favourite trays. The nostalgia. The memories. The play that started it all ✨

Thank you for being part of this little journey of mine.
