Sooo… this is not my usual post.
As some of you may have noticed, I’ve been quite quiet on here lately. There’s been a lot going on behind the scenes.
It is with the heaviest of hearts that I am announcing the closure of Holly Berry Bakes.
Unfortunately this has had to happen for a variety of reasons, and it has certainly not been an easy decision.
Holly Berry Bakes has been my baby from the moment it began. So much time, energy and love has gone into it.
It has been the most amazing journey over the past two years, I have learnt so much about both myself and running a business. From baking in my mum and dad’s kitchen to having my own industrial unit and shop front; being in the newspaper; I’ve also had the honour of meeting some influential people… even having my own lovely employee (shoutout to Tamara 🥰), it’s been more than I could have ever imagined.
I owe the biggest thank you to all of my lovely customers. I have had the pleasure of making cakes and bakes for such a variety of special occasions in your lives, and I have gotten to know some of you really quite well. This little business would have been nothing without your continued support ❤️
Running a business is not easy, especially doing it alone, and I really do admire all my fellow cakers & small businesses!
My final day will be 13th May, so any orders up until this point are going ahead as planned. If you are booked in after this date you should have already received a message from myself, however if you haven’t, please drop me a message 💕
