💔 WE DON’T KNOW HOW MUCH LONGER WE CAN KEEP GOING 💔

This is one of the hardest posts we’ve ever had to write.

Our rescue is in crisis.

Right now, we have 112 cats and kittens in our care. Every one of them depends on us for food, shelter, veterinary care, and safety. They depend on us to keep our promise that they will never be abandoned again.

Our foster homes are completely full. Our waiting list grows every single day. The phone keeps ringing with people begging for help, cats needing rescue, kittens needing somewhere safe to go, and we are increasingly having to say the word that breaks our hearts:

No.

Not because we don’t care.
Not because we don’t want to help.
But because we simply do not have the space or the funds.

Over recent months we’ve been hit with one poorly kitten after another, resulting in thousands of pounds in veterinary costs. Of course we said yes to treatment—how could we not? But those bills have left us struggling to keep our heads above water.

Our vet bill we received this week was £3887.81…. As you can imagine, this is breaking us.

Then this morning we had a phonecall from our vets, to tell us one of our incredible supporters paid £1887.81 directly off our account… 😱 this leaves us with exactly £2000 left to pay.

Adoptions have slowed dramatically. Cats are staying with us longer than ever before, while more continue to need help.

We have already had to make decisions we never wanted to make. Spays and neuters are being delayed until cats are reserved because we simply cannot afford to keep paying these costs upfront. Every penny is being stretched as far as it can go.

And now we are facing a reality we never thought we’d have to consider:

Without urgent support, our rescue may not survive.

The thought of closing our doors is devastating. Not for us, but for the countless cats and kittens who will have nowhere to go when they need help.
