Dogs truly are man’s best friend. In so many ways, I think they are one of humanity’s greatest achievements.

Winnie is kind, affectionate, and endlessly loving. She’s kinder to me than I am to myself, and I often wish I could see myself through her eyes.

Every dog I’ve ever had has been my best friend. They have left paw prints on my heart, taught me about unconditional love, and made me a better person. I can only hope that I gave them lives filled with happiness, safety, and joy—and that they always knew just how deeply they were loved.

We may rescue them, feed them, and care for them, but in the end, they are the ones who save us in countless quiet ways.

Like so many dog pawrents, I think everything my pup does is adorable 🐾🥹 My camera roll is basically 99% dog photos and videos, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Their time with us is never long enough, but the memories we capture can last forever. So take the picture, record the video, and cherish every silly, sleepy, tail-wagging moment. ❤️ Show me the fur babies taking over your camera roll! 📸🐶

What a privilege it is to have this sweet baby girl call me Mum ❤️

Or perhaps I’m just the evil parent who dog-napped her from the rescue farm! 😂 I’m pretty sure it’s the first one.

She has completely taken over the house, the sofa, and especially the bed. Despite being the smallest one, she somehow leaves me with no space at all! But honestly, I wouldn’t change a single thing.

Being loved by this beautiful girl is one of life’s greatest gifts. 🐾🥰

There are definitely more pictures of Winnie than cake today… although it’s a close call! 🐾🎂

Winnie is the absolute love of my life. We adopted her when she was 18 months old, and honestly, I swear I birthed her! ❤️

She is the happiest, waggiest doggo around. When she first came to us, she had never been on a sofa, walked on carpet, gone upstairs, or slept on a bed. Safe to say those days are LONG gone!

Now she completely rules the roost. Despite being the smallest one in the house, she somehow takes up most of the bed, demands the best spot on the sofa, and has become a full-time snuggle and cuddle monster. 🥰

Winnie lives for affection and being smothered in kisses—which is exactly what she deserves as the Boss and CEO of this household. 👑🐶

We adore you, Winnie. Life is infinitely better with you in it. ❤️

Today the rain stayed away, so we took a quick trip to Dog Ville with the CEO and the spare human! 🐾

A great time was had meeting all the fur babies, trying our luck at the doggy tombola, and even having a go in the doggy ball pit! 🎟️🎾

Woo thoroughly approves of the day’s activities and is now spending the afternoon doing what he does best — napping! 😴🐶❤️

Quick date night with the hubby! ❤️

Dinner at Karrage, a quick stop at Lindt (had to try the Cherry Blossom chocolates 🌸🍫), and then a couple of games of bowling! 🎳

And well… this has NEVER happened before… 136!!! 😲🎉

Safe to say I had the hubby well and truly beat tonight! 😆🏆❤️

Ever had a dream feel so real that you wished it was?

This morning I woke up and sobbed my heart out. I dreamt that Darci was here, and we were having a cuddle. It felt so incredibly real that when I woke up and realised it was only a dream, my heart broke all over again.

Grief has a way of catching you when you least expect it.

Thankfully, I had the amazing Winnie right by my side, ready with cuddles and comfort when I needed it most. ❤️

At Winnie’s Buttercream Bar, it’s not just human goodies we bake! 🐾🎂

A few weeks ago, we celebrated becoming officially registered with the authorities to make doggy treats, and today our very first doggy birthday cakes are heading out the door! 🥳🐶

These special cakes are made with carrot, banana and peanut butter, then topped with fresh popcorn and our homemade carrot cookies. 🥕🍌🥜🍿

They were so much fun to create, and we can’t wait to make more for your four-legged family members.

Wishing these birthday doggies the most amazing day filled with treats, tail wags and lots of love! 🐕❤️

This morning while volunteering at Middleton Hall, we received a call of distress — a mummy duck and her ducklings were stuck and couldn’t get out!

So off we went, chasing and catching 5 little ducklings before getting them all safely reunited and out of danger. 🦆💛

Definitely not on my bingo card for today, but I’m so glad we were able to help. A lovely reminder that every day brings something unexpected!
