I haven’t made as many chocolate loaded cakes lately as usual - I miss them and how gorgeous they smell!

This one included Guylian seashells as they are a birthday girls favourite. I can’t say that she is wrong about them 😋

This was a birthday cake for a very special lady whose favourite flowers were red, pink and white roses. You can see how this have Valentine vibes though!

2025 saw me holding on to my crown at Sainsburys for being the number 1 buyer of unsalted butter in Alton.

I can confirm that it requires buying an ungodly amount of butter 🧈 🏆

It was difficult to decide which was the front on this cake as the flowers were just so gorgeous - nice problem to have!

Flowers from Stem & Green where you can pick flowers Friday and Saturday then enjoy a cuppa AND a slice of Cakey cake! Hurry as the last day for picking is 11th October (next Saturday).

It doesn’t matter who you are, it’s always a nervy time. Being inspected makes you feel vulnerable and as a worrier it leaves me fretting (even though I know I’m doing all the right things), but now we are done for 3 years 😮‍💨 🥂
