When your daughter says she wants a cake sculpted in the shape of a horse head and you suggest a rainbow cake instead!

But it’s a super fun and funky rainbow cake right?!

As always my philosophy with kids cakes is to make them fun but still classy! A cake that kids and adults will both admire!

• wafer paper flowers •

Aren’t these wafer papers flowers magnificent?! They make such a bold statement, they look incredibly delicate but are actually quite robust! They are happy in the fridge or out and will stay perfect a really long time.
Whether super realistic or more abstract like these, they can be the exact colour you want and there is no need to worry about the potential toxicity of your chosen bloom!

It’s been a while since I said hello, so here I am saying hello if you’re new here or have been here a while! 👋🏼

I’ve been making and sharing my cakes here for about 6 years now and launched my business 2.5 years ago!

Buttercream is my jam - I love to decorate with it and eat it so that’s mostly what you’ll find here! I love making contemporary cakes with a bit of an edge and that, most importantly, have amazing layers of flavour and texture inside. So if that sounds like a bit of you then you’re in the right place!

Outside of baking:
👫 I’m married to a savoury guy who doesn’t really like cake and we have 2 young (ish) children [what age do you stop calling them young?!]

🐕‍🦺 we have 2 Finnish Lapphunds and I’ve even shown them on the green carpet at Crufts

🩰 I’m a ballet dancer at heart, and would love to get back to spending more time in the studio! But I can often be found ‘prancing around’ as my dad would say!

🥐 I went on a bakery crawl for my birthday this year - think pub crawl but with less pints and more pastries - and I would highly recommend it!!

Oh and how fabulous is the background of this photo booth?!!
