So much love baked into this cake for a special birthday girl! 🥰 The star of the show is, of course, her incredible owl artwork – isn't it stunning?!

At the risk of being cliche, I don't even know how he went from a baby to toddler, to little kid to this grown boy!

His cake request this year was a rainbow candy cake. It didn't turn the way I envisioned and his faith in me before he went to bed that night I was decorating was questionable, wishing me luck as I tucked him in.

I found myself making plans to "fix it" in the morning but when he woke up and saw it and was in awe, said, "it's perfect" a sense of relief rushed over me!

The dopamine rush I get when my kids are happy is something I can't find the words to adequately explain.
