Hey Friends of Higgins House! We are bringing more of our fabulous Pumpkin Pecan cake this week along with our Pumpkin Spice Shortbread Sandwich cookies and also Pumpkin Tarts which, along with out fantastic Salted Caramel Butter Tars will be available in packages of six as well as four. Along with our usual line-up of Clementine cakes and Scottish shortbread you can skip the turkey and go straight to dessert!

Hey, Port Stanley friends, we are thrilled to announce our pop-up at the Firehall Market this Sunday! look for us after 12. We'll have our wonderful clementine cake for sampling (and buying!) along with true Scottish shortbread and all our other famous treats. See you soon!

Hello dear friends of Higgins House. We missed you last week at The Horton Farmers Market when we attended the funeral for my dear brother, Vic.

Sadly, we have another such occasion this Saturday as we mourn the passing of our beloved priest, the Reverend Patt Nunn of Christ Anglican Church Port Stanley. We will see you again on Saturday, September 26. See you then. Plus, for our Port Stanley friends, stay tuned for an exciting announcement coming soon.

Dear Friends of Higgins House, please remember that we will not be at The Horton Farmers Market this coming Saturday as sadly, we must attend the funeral of my dear brother, Victor who passed away August 13th. Thanks to all who contributed to his fundraiser and know that your dollars will help someone else one day.

Hello dear friends of Higgins House! We are back from vacation and we're looking forward to bringing you all your favourite treats this Saturday at The Horton Farmers Market.

Please note, however, that this will be your last chance to purchase shortbread, tarts and Clementine cake for the next two weeks. Sadly, we will be attending back-to-back funerals over the next two Saturdays and will not be at our usual spot again until September 26th, so stock up now!

Once again we express our heartfelt gratitude to our friends at The Horton Farmers Market and Christ Anglican Church Port Stanley for their kind support of our fundraiser, Shortbread for Vic. As of today we have met our goal of $1000. Many thanks to all who participated. Please note, we will be taking a much needed break next week for a little R&R and will be back the following week. Many thanks to our friends at The Horton Farmers Market and Christ Anglican Church Port Stanley for your purchases of our Pecans and Pralines shortbread for our fundraiser, 'Shortbread for Vic. Together with your help we have raised $810 so far, bringing us very close to our goal of $1000.

Sadly, my beloved brother, Vic passed away on Thursday August 13th in the early evening, just one week from his 80th birthday. We are grateful for his life and that he is free from pain. We appreciate the support we have received both from our loyal customers, the Horton market staff and our fellow parishioners at Christ Church, Port Stanley. Our fundraiser will continue for one more week. Please help us reach our goal.

Rest in Peace, dear brother.
