In 2023, we walked into an empty space and decided it would become something beautiful. 🤍
No guarantee. No roadmap. Just a vision, a set of French pastry skills, and a deep belief that Ottawa deserved something different — something that didn’t exist yet.
The counter was built. The kitchen was designed. Every recipe was developped. Choux Atelier opened the doors at 7am and didn’t stop until 7pm. And then we came back the next morning and did it all again.
What started as a dream became a community’s place. Cream puffs that people drive across the city for. Custom cakes that sit at the centre of someone’s most important day. A coffee that makes Monday mornings feel like they might be okay after all.

This special order croquembouche took two full hours to build by hand — every puff filled, dipped, and stacked one at a time until it held its shape. We compressed it all into 30 seconds so you can see exactly what goes into a custom order this size.
