Olive herbes de provence sourdough bread:
Herbes de provence is a collection of herbs that originated from the Provence region of France. It usually includes marjoram, savoury, oregano, thyme and rosemary. In Noryh America people add lavender leaves or flowers. It is a very aromatic collection of herbs that has many medicinal benefits and is ideal to add flavor and aroma to many dishes such as pizzas, meat, and vegetables.
Today I used a reduced version of herbes de provence from my garden (oregano, thyme and rosemary and lavender) to add an aromatic flavor to this olive sourdough bread.
Ingredients: 50% spelt, 50% local organic white flour. Inclusions: Olives, olive oil, roasted hazelnuts, sesame seeds and herbes de provence.
