A few things to know about the sign:

💡 The sign can change colours and will be lit for different events, occasions and causes. For example, this weekend it will be lit in the Newfoundland Regiment’s brand colours. Over the past few weeks, City staff have been getting to know the lighting system and troubleshooting some abnormalities. As we continue to work with the system, occasional issues may still occur.

🎨 We’ve also received suggestions about adding decals or artwork to the front of the sign. This is something we can consider in the future, in consultation with the City’s Arts Program. There are great possibilities, and we have loved hearing your ideas.

What I love about CHBA ? It’s not just an association for the Canadian Home builders, they also think about community as a whole. On August 8, they have a family fun day at the Bob Whelan field in Bowing Park from 12-4. It’s a great chance for children to get more immersed with builders in our cities and for adults to ask questions on where to start when it comes to home building.

They even worked to raise supplies for local schools for programs that support the future builders of our city. 👷‍♀️👷‍♂️🔧
