What I love about CHBA ? It’s not just an association for the Canadian Home builders, they also think about community as a whole. On August 8, they have a family fun day at the Bob Whelan field in Bowing Park from 12-4. It’s a great chance for children to get more immersed with builders in our cities and for adults to ask questions on where to start when it comes to home building.

They even worked to raise supplies for local schools for programs that support the future builders of our city. 👷‍♀️👷‍♂️🔧

Some at our city say that there’s no point in having a public meeting because it is zoned for this type of development and public meetings won’t stop it. But with petitions at over 4600 signatures- we need to be considering the public’s opinion on this development. To not hold a public meeting is to say the public’s opinions and ideas do not matter. Your voice matters. Your voice deserves to be heard.
