Whole Wheat Cinnamon Roll Apple Pie

The crust starts with freshly milled hard red wheat flour, giving it that beautiful rustic colour and a deeper, slightly nutty whole wheat flavour. The dough is rolled with butter, cinnamon and sugar, sliced into tiny spirals, then pieced together by hand to create the cinnamon roll crust.

Inside, fresh apples are tossed with brown sugar, vanilla, lemon, nutmeg, a little ginger and cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Warm, rustic, nostalgic, and basically fall baked into a pie.

This cinnamon roll crust will be available as an upgrade to fall pies for +$5.
