If you do not see what you want, that's normal since it just hasn't been created yet! We would like to think that the great queen herself (Marie Antoinette) would have approved of our use of her famous words, even though many years later historians agree that "Let them eat cake" was a slogan used many years before she was even born. Iconic queen of everything decadent, beautiful and tasteful, Marie Antoinette remains an inspiration for culinary delights.

Another tea coming up, Let Them Eat Cakes style, based on the nursery rhyme The Bells of St Clements. Steeped in history which is carried throughout the years where during the month of March St Clements church in London still give oranges and lemons to local children.
A citrus forward tea includes sandwiches, savouries, scones with preserves and other sweet treats, all freshly made in house served in a train compartment right in the middle of The Hamilton Prop House! Vintage China and table linens make this an unforgettable Sunday treat.

Remember the afternoon teas at Let Them Eat Cakes? Well, just in case youd like to experience it again…pop along to the Hamilton Prop House (look for tickets on Eventbrite). The next tea is “Queen of Hearts” and is on 15th February. Tickets selling out fast.
