🎃🍲 **VEGAN LASAGNA SOUP, FRESH MINI DOUGHNUTS & HALLOWEEN FUN FOR $5?!** 👻🌱

Wait… WHAT?! 🤯

That's right! Our friends over at **Athlone-DunVegan Community League** (and yes, we're still appreciating that capital V! 😂💚) are hosting their annual **Halloween Family Dinner & Dance**, and we're happy to help spread the word!

Here at **Cynful Sweets**, we're big believers in supporting the community organizations that support us, and Athlone-DunVegan has been wonderful about welcoming vegan events, plant-based programs, and local small businesses!

So let's show them some love! ❤️

🎃 **ATHLONE-DUNVEGAN HALLOWEEN FAMILY DINNER & DANCE**

📅 **Saturday, October 24, 2026**
⏰ **5 PM – 10 PM**
📍 **Athlone Community Hall**
13010 129 Street NW, Edmonton

🍲 **LET'S TALK ABOUT THE FOOD FIRST… BECAUSE PRIORITIES!** 😂

🌱 **TWO HOMEMADE VEGAN SOUPS!** Including their famous, crowd-favourite **VEGAN LASAGNA SOUP!** 🤤

🥪 **VEGETARIAN SANDWICHES!** With vegan options available!

🥕 **FRESH VEGGIES!** Because we should probably eat something green between desserts!

🍩 **FRESH VEGAN MINI DOUGHNUTS!** Yes, fresh, warm, delicious mini doughnuts that just happen to be vegan!

🧁 **MORE VEGAN DESSERTS!** Because one dessert is never enough!

**Dinner (soups, sandwiches, and veggies) is included in your admission!** Mini doughnuts and other treats will be available for purchase.

🎃 **BUT WAIT… THERE'S MORE!**

🎶 **MUSIC & DANCING!** Shake those skeleton bones!

👻 **COSTUME CONTEST & PARADE!** Dress up, show off, and maybe take home a prize!

🏆 **MORE ADVANCE TICKETS = BIGGER PRIZES!** The more tickets they sell in advance, the bigger they can make the costume contest prizes!

🎟️ **50/50 DRAW!** Support the community league and maybe take home some extra cash!

🍿 **SNACKS & DRINKS!** Fresh popcorn, delicious treats, and a great selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available for purchase!

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 **ALL AGES WELCOME!** Bring the whole family! Children 15 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

💰 **AND THE PRICE?! YOU MIGHT WANT TO SIT DOWN FOR THIS!** 😂

🎟️ **ADVANCE TICKETS:**
• $5 per person
• $15 per family

🚪 **AT THE DOOR:**
• $10 per person
• $20 per family

**YES, DINNER IS INCLUDED!** 🤯

Honestly, you can barely get a coffee for $5 these days, never mind dinner and a whole evening of entertainment!

♻️ **GOT EMPTIES? BRING 'EM!**

Athlone-DunVegan is also collecting refundable bottles and cans to help raise funds for the community league!

Bring a **garbage bag full of refundable bottles and cans**, and you'll receive a **FREE drink ticket!** 🥤

Clear out those empties, support your community, and enjoy a drink on them!

❤️ **WHY ARE WE SHARING THIS?**

Because community support goes both ways!

Athlone-DunVegan has been a fantastic supporter of vegan initiatives and local events, and we're proud to support them in return.

Plus, when a community organization makes an effort to provide delicious vegan options at their events, we think that's worth celebrating! 🌱💚

🚨 **ONE LITTLE FAVOUR…**

Advance ticket sales aren't quite where they'd hoped, and while this event usually draws a great crowd, they need to know how many hungry monsters to prepare for!

**PLEASE BUY YOUR TICKETS IN ADVANCE IF YOU CAN!**

You'll save money, help them plan food and supplies, and contribute toward making those costume contest prizes even bigger!

📣 **CAN'T ATTEND? PLEASE SHARE!**

Let's help fill that hall with costumes, laughter, dancing, and people who appreciate a good bowl of vegan lasagna soup!

**Come for the costumes. Stay for the soup. Leave with a belly full of vegan goodies and maybe a costume contest prize!** 🎃🍲🍩💚

🎃🎤 **SCARY COSTUMES, QUESTIONABLE SINGING & VEGAN GOODIES?! COUNT US IN!** 👻🌱

We've got a confession to make…

Here at **Cynful Sweets**, we love a good excuse to dress up, eat delicious vegan treats, and embarrass ourselves in public. 😂

But when we can do all of that **AND help rescued farm animals?!** Well, that's our kind of party! 🐷❤️

We're excited to be supporting **SCARE-AOKE NIGHT**, a spooktacular evening of karaoke, costumes, dancing, and delicious vegan eats, all in support of **FARRM!**

And we need YOUR help to make it a success!

📅 **Friday, October 30, 2026**
⏰ **7 PM**
📍 **Athlone Community Hall**
13010 129 Street NW, Edmonton

👻 **WHAT'S IN STORE?**

🎤 **KARAOKE!** Whether you've got the voice of an angel or sound like a haunted vacuum cleaner, we want to hear it! 😂

🎃 **COSTUME CONTEST!** Dress to impress, terrify, or make everyone laugh! There are prizes up for grabs!

💃 **MUSIC & DANCING!** Shake those skeleton bones and show off your best moves!

🌱 **ALL-VEGAN EATS!** Because the only thing that should be scary about the food is how much you might eat! 🍪🧁

🍹 **DRINKS & GOOD COMPANY!** Grab your friends, family, or favourite karaoke partner and enjoy a fun night out!

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 **ALL AGES WELCOME!** That's right, bring your little monsters along for the fun!

💰 **TICKETS:**

🎟️ **$10 IN ADVANCE**
🎟️ **$15 AT THE DOOR**

Why pay more when you can save $5 and have a little extra to spend on vegan goodies?! 😉

🐷❤️ **BUT HERE'S WHY THIS NIGHT REALLY MATTERS…**

This event is raising funds for **FARRM**, helping provide rescued farm animals with the love, safety, and care they deserve.

These animals have already experienced enough real-life horrors. Let's make Halloween scary for pretend so their lives don't have to be! 💚

🚨 **AND HERE'S WHERE WE NEED YOUR HELP!**

Ticket sales aren't quite where we'd hoped they'd be, and we'd really love to see this event succeed!

We know everyone's busy, but if you've been thinking about coming, **PLEASE grab your tickets in advance!**

Not only will you save money, but you'll help us plan for the evening and show that Edmonton is ready to turn up for a great cause!

📣 **CAN'T MAKE IT? YOU CAN STILL HELP!**

Share this post, tag your friends, or tell someone who loves karaoke, Halloween, vegan food, or animals!

Every little bit of support helps!

**DON'T GHOST US! 👻**

Come sing badly, dance shamelessly, eat vegan goodies, and help make life a little less scary for the animals at FARRM! 🐷🎤💚

**Because the only screams we want to hear are from the karaoke stage!** 😂🎶

Our friends over at **Athlone-DunVegan Community League** (yes, we're still loving that capital V! 🌱😂) are getting ready for their annual **Holiday Market**, and we're happy to help spread the word!

And before anyone gets confused, **this is NOT Cynful Sweets' Vegan Holiday Market!** That's coming December 5. 😉

And remember, other vendors may have vegan options too, even if they don't have a balloon! 🌱

🍪 **VEGAN GOODIES AT THE CONCESSION!** Athlone-DunVegan is making sure there will be plenty of vegan options available, because nobody should have to shop hungry! 😂

🎟️ **RAFFLE TIME!** There will be some great prizes up for grabs, and possibly even a few door prizes!

🎅 **SANTA MIGHT BE STOPPING BY!** Rumour has it the big guy in red may be making an appearance. We're not promising anything, but we're keeping our fingers crossed! 👀

❤️ **WHY ARE WE SHARING THIS?**

Because supporting small businesses and community organizations matters!

Athlone-DunVegan has been a wonderful supporter of plant-based initiatives and local events, and we're happy to return that support.

Plus, we LOVE seeing community events making an effort to welcome vegan shoppers and provide plant-based food options! 💚

In fact, we highly recommend it!

What a beautiful day at the Cynful Sweets Vegan Spring Market! 🌷

A huge thank you to all of our incredible vendors, volunteers, and everyone who came out to support local vegan businesses. The hall was filled with delicious food, beautiful creations, wonderful people, and all kinds of happy little pockets of vegan magic.

Congratulations to our centrepiece winners, and to Elliott, who took home our giant raffle basket full of vegan treasures!

Thank you for helping us create such a wonderful day full of community, kindness, and a little bit of glitter-fuelled chaos.
