Henrics Cookies Hello to all my wonderful clients. Since then, my 2 growing boys (Henry & Eric) are now nearly 5 and 6 and starting a adventure together. Style in every bite.

A few years ago I had to slow down on my spa services to accommodate my little family..then it pretty much came to a end with the addition of my second son very soon after the arrival of my first. I completely understand if this may not be something you're interested in and choose to no longer follow the page, but, we'd love it if you stay along with us for this next journey into COOKIES! We scratch bake the most delicious flavours of decorated sugar cookies, neat combinations of flavour cookies, and soon to be French macarons! I'd like to welcome you to Henrics Cookies.

Wowza! Today was a busy one. Everything baked fresh for all our orders today. Thank you for making Henrics Cookies a part of all your celebrations. I truly appreciate you. ♡ so much!

Tomorrow don't forget.. its my LAST DAY with the Koffiehuis before she goes into hibernation for the winter.

Another getaway in the books. I followed Tobermory with a few days in Ottawa.

An evening at Chateau Laurier with an amazing array of foods and sweet treats. A trip over to the Byward Market for some amazing finds and the best stone fire pizza I've ever had. Had to close off my trip with a tour of the first jail of Ottawa from 1800s which has since been turned into a hostel you can still stay at. You sleep in the jail cells. Best not be claustrophobic!

Now.. tomorrow I head back to get all your delicious Thanksgiving cookie orders baked fresh for your family memories. I appreciate you making Henrics a part of your dinner table this holiday. ♡

We all need a getaway sometimes. So, we took off to Tobermory for the weekend. Such a wonderful time ♡

Pre orders are now open! Orders close October 4th and Thanksgiving cookie pick ups are October 9th after 5pm.

The Thanksgiving cookie sets are sold in boxes of 6 ($25) or 12 ($50) with one (or 2) of each flavour in your box.

Be sure to place your orders as there will be a limited supply of boxes this holiday, as I'm also going to be attending the Rosseau Pumpkin Festival on the 10th.

Caramel Pumpkin crumble
Ginger spice with vanilla glaze
Chocolate chip
Cranberry almond with white chocolate
Maple pecan with brown sugar glaze

What started out this morning was supposed to be me making pizza dough for the kids for dinner. After a quick walk with the dog it changed.
My friends, we are all human. Be human. What other people do have no impact on your life. Choices other people make, are not your business.

Life changes every day and if you are not a part of someone's immediate circle.. its not your business.

I ended up posting this out of frustration maybe.. I'm not really sure. But a big part of being people is being able to be real.. be raw.. be you. And this is what started to happen rather than the intended pizza recipe.

We are all just people. Again, we are all just people.

Sorry I didn't actually end up making a pizza video.

2 cups flour
1 cup warm water
1 tsp salt
1.5 tsp quick yeast
2 tsp everything spice

Water & yeast sit for 10 minutes.
Add in flour and mix on medium/slow 10 minutes.
Cover and let sit for a couple hours.
Boom. You have pizza dough.

A enjoyable afternoon at Leacock Museum today. Music, sunshine, lake, artisans & duckies.

Met some wonderful new people I was happy to call neighbour's today. (Pierogies, Please! ) SO delicious. A must new vendor you need to hunt down!

Lots of sweet treats & pumpkin spice lattes to welcome in the fall season.

One last event to be held is October 10th Rosseau Pumpkin Festival see you there and our Thanksgiving cookie list will drop this week for cookie orders! Keep an eye out fellow cookie addicts 🍪

Chocolate S'more sourdough bread with a vanilla glaze! Umm..delicious!

This little beauty is heading down to the school today for one of our favourite teachers ❤️
Packed with Nutella, marshmallow and chocolate, it's sure to be a hit.

While the vanilla glaze was setting it gave me more time to package up some market cookies that I'll be bringing to Fairgrounds Farmers’ Market tomorrow morning. Be sure to come grab yours before they're all gone!
