Our love for sourdough continues to grow. The process is beautiful, and we never tire of seeing how four simple ingredients can create such incredible loaves.
Our crumb is soft and tender with small air pockets, and we bake a mix of lighter and darker loaves to suit different tastes and preferences.
Thank you for sharing in the love we have for our bread. It has been such a rewarding and fulfilling transition from donuts, and we’re so grateful for all the support along the way.
We’re really enjoying experimenting with new fillings and flavours, with plenty more to come soon. We love making your daily bread and can’t wait to share even more flavours and options with you all. x

Closed 10th - 20th May, reopen Thursday 21st at 7am.
We are taking a small break to catch our breath and reset before we enter the cooler months.
At the beginning of this year we made some significant changes to our business qnd daily products.
Thankyou all so much for joining us on this journey, it was a little scary to make such a significant change, but one we felt was right for our business.
Not only has it been well received but thanks to you, our customers for coming in, sharing our product with your family and friends it has far exceeded anything that we thought was possible in such a short time.

We know we sell out often and weekly we are trying to look at how to improve and grow to ensure we have enough that we don’t miss you. it’s such a testament to our beautiful customers and our product that you continue to come for your daily bread.

So once again, THANKYOU for joining us in this journey and we continue to grow, trial new product and develop our menu and skills.

Our newest sourdough addition is now a regular flavour available daily - Blueberry sourdough.

Our blueberry compote is folded through our organic sourdough loaf, a little bit sweet, a little bit savoury and very addictive.
Dark and caramelised on the outside, with berries peeping through. On the inside the blueberries pop and the colours are stunning. We hope you love it as much as we do!

Today was such a beautiful day in the shop.
Our days are long, busy and full of preparing, baking, timers going off serving and chatting… and of course lots of coffee.
We are not chefs or bakers just a husband and wife team learning as we go, giving it everything we have in an industry and a time where food costs are rising and cost of living is increasing.
We are learning every day, trialing recipes and processes to better serve a product that we are proud of.

We love chatting and serving so many of you and meeting so many new faces. Everyday is different but today in our store felt special… to us it kinda feels like Cheers’ the 80s tv show. It wasn’t about how busy we were or sales, but the beautiful chats, meeting your families, we love seeing so many of you weekly, we love hearing about your weddings, weekly events, weekend plans, birthdays and family visits.

Thankyou for sharing with us and showing us photos of your beautiful events and special moments.
Thankyou for loving our food so much.
It is so humbling to hear your feedback, and we are still truly blown away how you have embraced us, our food and our little shop.

For the next while, our offerings in store will look a little different. For personal reasons we need to pull back from our pastries we offer daily. Our pastry cabinet will be limited.
We are again increasing our sourdough bread range and flavoured loaves so there will be lots of sourdough available, however focaccias and pasties will be limited.

Our semi sourdough hot cross buns -
This is our first year really serving our sourdough hot cross buns and they almost didn’t happen…
So so so much recipe testing and tweaking our recipe over the last few months until we were finally ready to serve them and now we can’t get enough…
… why we love them!
- a flour blend including organic flour as base
- organic sourdough starter with a yeast base
- house made sweetened candy peel
- orange soaked rasins
-cinnamon / orange glaze
- free range eggs
- grass feed butter
- hand rolled

This Easter we will only be selling hot cross buns and sourdough loaves. We are limiting focaccia this week due to capacity.
We will have instore some other sweet ideas for your Easter Celebration!

Our hot cross buns are a hybrid yeasted / sourdough hot cross bun with house make orange peel and sweet orange glaze.
They are light and fluffy and oh so good!

There is something about the smell of fresh baked sourdough bread… you could literally follow your nose when you come into Queen Street Warragul, it would lead the way to Rosie’s (formerly Rosiesdonuts ).
Can’t wait to show you what Leah and Mark have done to tweak things up.. Coming Wednesday.

Our Sourdough Apple galette is an absolute favourite.

This year we have changed our trading hours to help better accommodate our customers.
As we are changing our menu and pausing our donuts it has allowed us to to increase our sourdough range and open up earlier.
We have been trialing it for the last two weeks and loving it. We feel it’s perfect timing for an early breakfast toastie and coffee before work, or pop in to pick up your sourdough or focaccia before or after school drop off.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
