📢VOBIS UPDATE

Following Racing Victoria's comprehensive review of the VOBIS program, a number of changes will come into effect from 1 August 2026, aimed at delivering greater consistency and clarity across Australia's richest owner and breeder incentive scheme.

Key changes include:

✅ VOBIS Silver bonuses standardised to $20,000 across metropolitan midweek, country and Saturday metropolitan races
✅ VOBIS Silver Nominator Bonuses doubled to $20,000 on all eligible 2YO and 3YO black type races
✅ New VOBIS Gold Nominator Bonus introduced
✅ Consistent bonus distributions across both VOBIS Silver and Gold
✅ Increased bonuses at the country racing level

TBV has been actively involved throughout the review process. We appreciates the opportunity to contribute feedback on behalf of Victorian breeders.

The changes provide greater consistency across the scheme while importantly maintaining the overall VOBIS prizemoney, bonus and voucher pool available to participants.
