Another year, another registration paid for EC Cakes and Sweets.
A reminder again, that my prices not only reflect my work and decoration experience, but pay for many behind the scene costs of continuing a safe food business. This includes registrations, proper cleaning schedules and products, ongoing insurances ect..
I appreciate my customers continued support, always. 🫶🏻

One of the hardest parts of growing a small business is reaching the point where you are required to register for GST.

From the 1st of July (including quotes after this date), my pricing will include a GST increase of 10% for all orders - cakes, cookies and cupcakes.

Unfortunately, absorbing an additional 10% for EC cakes simply isn’t sustainable whilst other ingredients and products continue to rise as well hence why I have to add this costing to all orders.
This is certainly not an increase in price that goes to my pocket - it goes straight to the government 🫠 it sucks.

Thank you for supporting my small business. I’m truly grateful.
