Vanilla Raisin Loaf

Ingredients
• 2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour
• 1½ tsp baking powder
• ¼ tsp salt
• ½ cup (115g) unsalted butter, softened
• ¾ cup (150g) sugar
• 2 large eggs
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• ½ cup (120ml) milk
• ½ cup (80g) raisins (soaked in warm water for 10 minutes and drained)

Instructions

In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt.
In another large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Mix in vanilla extract.
Gradually add the dry ingredients alternately with milk, mixing until just combined.
Fold in the raisins gently.

Pour the batter into a greased and lined loaf pan (8x4 inch).
Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C (350°F) for 45–50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Oreo cake recipe

Ingredients
For the Cake
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup buttermilk (room temperature)
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs (room temperature)
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup crushed Oreo cookies

For the Oreo Frosting
- 1 cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups finely crushed Oreo cookies

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans or line them with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, sift together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Add the buttermilk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.

- Divide the batter evenly between the prepared cake pans and smooth the tops.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cakes comes out clean.
- Allow the cakes to cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then remove them from the pans and transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

- In a large bowl, beat the butter until creamy.
- Gradually add the powdered sugar, one cup at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Add the heavy cream and vanilla extract, and beat until smooth and fluffy.
- Fold in the finely crushed Oreo cookies until evenly distributed.

- Once the cakes are completely cool, place one cake layer on a serving plate. Spread a layer of Oreo frosting evenly over the top.
- Place the second cake layer on top of the frosting.
- Frost the top and sides of the cake with the remaining Oreo frosting.
- Decorate with additional Oreo cookies if desired.

Red velvet pound cake

INGREDIENTS
2 1/2 cups (315 g) all-purpose flour
2 tbsp cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup (225 g) butter, softened
2 cups (400 g) granulated sugar
4 eggs
1 cup (240 ml) buttermilk
1 tbsp red food coloring
1 tsp vanilla extract

INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C) and grease a loaf or bundt pan. In a bowl whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.

In another bowl beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract, red food coloring, and buttermilk.

Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the batter until smooth. Pour into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 55–65 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool before slicing.

Rich & Moist Chocolate Bundt Cake

Ingredients

Dry Ingredients
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
• 1½ cups sugar
• 2 tsp baking powder
• 1 tsp baking soda
• ½ tsp salt

Wet Ingredients
• 3 large eggs
• 1 cup milk
• ½ cup vegetable oil or melted butter
• 1 cup hot coffee or hot water (enhances chocolate flavor)
• 1 tsp vanilla extract

Optional
• ½ cup chocolate chips

Instructions

1. Prepare the Pan
• Grease a Bundt cake pan very well with butter or baking spray.
• Lightly dust with flour.

2. Preheat Oven
• Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F).

3. Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large bowl whisk together:
• flour
• cocoa powder
• sugar
• baking powder
• baking soda
• salt

4. Mix Wet Ingredients
In another bowl whisk:
• eggs
• milk
• oil or melted butter
• vanilla

5. Combine
• Add wet ingredients to the dry ingredients.
• Mix until smooth.
• Slowly add hot coffee or hot water and mix (the batter will be thin — that’s normal).
• Fold in chocolate chips if using.

6. Bake
• Pour batter into the prepared Bundt pan.
• Bake 45–55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

7. Cool
• Let the cake cool 15–20 minutes, then gently turn it out onto a rack.

Easy Chocolate Glaze

Mix together:
• 1 cup powdered sugar
• 2 tbsp cocoa powder
• 3–4 tbsp milk
• ½ tsp vanilla

Drizzle over the cooled cake.
