Today I am baking peanut butter biscuits for a dear client who loves his peanut butter treats. They are also my husband's favourite, and I use my mom-in-law's recipe that she gave me, telling me that this is the way to win Rob over ( must have worked, we've been married for more than 20yr! 😉😁).
She passed away from cancer more than 3yr ago and we still miss her every day. Some days more than others, like today when I'm baking. I 'd just love to take her a fresh batch and share a cup of tea with her, just once more.
Moral of the story: Treasure your parents - and listen to your elders, they know the way to a man's heart! 👍😜🤣
