With the cold coming in I've had to pull the tomatoes and the last of the basil from the greenhouse. If you fancy making some lovely Italian-inspired dish, I'll have fresh tomatoes and wee bags of basil on Monday at Lac La Hache Bakery. 9am-1pm. :)

Another Sunday, another harvest for our wee Monday vegetable stand at Lac La Hache Bakery Ltd. We've got some beauty Yukon Gold potatoes, red kuri squash, beefsteak tomatoes and the last of the zucchini. Enjoy cucumbers while they last! Lean into garlic, kale and cabbage! Celebrate carrots and pumpkins. Visit us at the bakery between 9am-1pm. :) 🥔🍅🎃🥕🥒🧄

Well, we're officially zucchini rich! If you're in the mood to make zucchini relish or some zucchini bread, find me outside Lac La Hache Bakery Ltd on Monday from 9am-1pm. I also harvested a cauliflower that is larger than my head. I have cabbages for coleslaw and glorious stir-fry dishes, bundles of beets, large heads of centennial broccoli, and we've even dipped into the potato patch to pull some glorious pontiacs! Blessed is the Harvest Season. :)

Hello friends, If you missed the chance to get some fresh broccoli at the Friday market, please visit me on Monday July 20 from 9am-1pm outside the Lac La Hache Bakery Ltd. The recent heat is speeding the brassicas through their season, so I've got another good harvest of stunning broccoli to enjoy (along with a host of other garden delights, including the first of the raspberries!).
