Today we pause to remember and honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to this nation. Memorial Day is not simply a long weekend or the unofficial start of summer. It is a solemn reminder that freedom comes at a cost.

As Christians, we understand sacrifice. John 15:13 says, “Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.”

We remember those who laid down their lives for our country, and we pray for the families who continue to carry that sacrifice every single day. May we never take for granted the freedoms we still enjoy in America, and may we use those freedoms to glorify God and stand for truth.

Please take a moment today to pray for our nation, our military families, and for hearts to turn back to the Lord.

“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord” Psalm 33:12.

Another fun day at Shiloh Ridge Farm with some of my favorite ladies. We sure missed those who couldn’t make it, but what a beautiful day the Lord gave us for fun, laughter, fellowship, and making sweet memories together. Grateful for every moment and every friendship.
