We had the honor of baking 400 cookies for the Montgomery County Fair Association, and getting to be a small part of something happening right here in our community means so much to us. 🤎

400 cookies. Four boxes. A whole lot of butter, flour, and one late night. 😂

A little piping work from this morning… ✨

A lot of people assume Brown Butter Bakery is our full-time job.

The truth? We both work full-time careers outside of the bakery.

Last night, Kyle was doing prep work for today’s orders until midnight. This morning, he was back in the kitchen decorating at 4:00 AM before heading to his day job. I started my day taking care of the behind-the-scenes work that keeps this business running before heading to mine. And when we’re both off work this afternoon… we’ll be back in the kitchen again.

This bakery is built in the early mornings, late nights, lunch breaks, weekends, and every spare moment in between.

It is not always easy, but it is a dream we are incredibly thankful God has entrusted us with. His provision and faithfulness have carried us every step of the way.

And to every single person who has ordered cookies, shared a post, recommended us to a friend, or simply cheered us on—thank you. Your support allows our family to keep pursuing this dream, and we never take that for granted.

Some of our favorite memories are made right here in the kitchen. 🤎

Over the holiday weekend, the kids helped make simple Jell-O parfaits and pretzel-wrapped hot dogs. Nothing fancy—just time together, lots of laughter, and little hands learning new skills.

We believe the kitchen is about so much more than food. It’s where confidence grows, traditions begin, and memories are made. Our prayer is that these are the moments our kids will look back on someday and want to recreate with their own families.

As parents, we know keeping little ones entertained can be a challenge, especially during summer break. If sharing simple, budget-friendly recipes and fun kitchen activities for kids is something you’d enjoy, we’d love to start sharing more!
