Pop up sale this weekend!! Before your feed fills up with all the back to school pics and any business posts get pushed to the side, let me get the preliminary info out now :) I had some time open up in my schedule this week, so I have some extra time for more baking! I'm planning on making cinnamon rolls, and having those available for pick up Friday afternoon/evening, stop by on your way home from work so you can have them all ready for a nice Saturday breakfast treat at home, and will be available throughout the weekend too. Order ahead of time or just drop by to buy them while supplies last!
Cinnamon rolls will be available with the cream cheese frosting already on them or with it on the side for those who like to warm their rolls up at home before eating them or who prefer to dunk!
I think I'll also try to make some cake cups, or maybe cake by the slice, and some drop cookies to have for sale too - so if there are any flavors you really want to see, drop it in the comments!
Cake and cookies freeze really well and will last for months in the freezer, so grab some snacks and your future self will thank you when that craving hits!

Yesterday, with the recent chill in the air lately, I tested out an idea I had for pumpkin flavored cinnamon rolls. I subbed out some of the butter and heavy cream for pumpkin purée, they’re absolutely delicious, I ate 2 last night and had to use all my self control not to eat a 3rd, but they don’t taste like pumpkin….I accidentally made healthier cinnamon rolls that don’t taste any different 🤯
I only made the single batch for now, but I think I might have to make more asap! Would you eat a cinnamon roll if you knew it had pumpkin purée in it, or choose the full fat one instead?

I was actually pretty bummed when the mint green ostrich feathers were delivered and they were very much blue instead of mint green which I ordered, until my customer sent me the picture of her sister posing with her birthday cake and they was a perfect match!!! I had so much fun planning this cake with my customer, and I love how much she wanted to make her sister’s birthday as amazing and fabulous as her!! Pic shared with permission :) We even added a last minute detail for their cousin Paige who is headed off to college in FL!

Cake is a 2 tier funfetti cake, 8” and 6” tiers. This awesome cake design was picked by my customer, I can’t take any credit for this one, and is inspired by the Taylor Swift ‘The Life of a Showgirl’ album! (But I will take credit for placing each and every one of those little pearl sprinkles individually by hand with tweezers to bring her design to life! haha).

Not my usual content, but please help my very good friend's family find their sweet baby, Mia!! She seems to have gone off on an adventure and hasn't made her way home yet, please check your barn/shed/garage and make sure she didn't accidentally get trapped, if you saw her walking through your yard at some point please let them know, and if you or someone you know thought she was maybe a stray who needed a home and have taken her in, please know that she has a home and a family who loves her very very much and are devastated missing their sweet little baby and please contact them to return her
Long story short, I would have adopted her or one of her siblings except I was still too distraught with grief over the loss of my cat a little while before the litter with Mia was born, so I have an extra emotional attachment to this kitty and really want to see her reunited with her family!

I have 5 cake cups available, carrot cake (with walnuts and raisins) with cream cheese frosting. $3.50 each. I still have to type out and print labels, so available for pick up tomorrow. (7.5 ounces each!!)
These are great to have on hand for a sweet treat craving, even I struggle to finish one of these containers in one sitting, and I’m a professional haha. Cake freezes really well and thaws pretty quickly, so it’s a great option to stash in the freezer for a future craving!
Might have some vanilla cake ones available tomorrow too
