A couple of my favorites lately! ❤️

The little biker grandma has so much personality, and that ocean-inspired background on the shark cake is one of those techniques that never gets old. Sometimes it’s the tiny details, sometimes it’s the overall design, but these are the cakes that remind me why I love decorating.

One is cute. One is fierce. Both were an absolute blast to create. 🎂✨

🎉🧁 I still can’t get over the fact that this is cupcakes.

Every once in a while, a design comes along that makes me stop and think, “Okay… that’s pretty cool.” 😅

The colors, the details, the textures, the characters… this one was just plain fun from start to finish.

Definitely one of my favorite creations lately. 👀

🚨 PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT FROM YOUR FRIENDLY DINING ROOM AIR CONDITIONER 🚨

Apparently, our A/C has become the victim of a recent trend: “If I push the flap down, the air won’t blow on me.” 😅

While we completely understand not wanting a direct blast of Arctic air to the face, we kindly ask that you please do not adjust, push, bend, or touch the air unit.

Here’s why:

❄️ The flap is designed to direct airflow properly.
❄️ Pushing it down causes the unit to struggle for airflow.
❄️ The unit can actually freeze up internally.
❄️ Once frozen, it starts blowing warm air instead of cool air.
❄️ Then nobody is happy.

Unfortunately, our dining room has a flat ceiling and cannot be insulated, so during these Texas summers, this unit is working overtime to keep everyone comfortable.

If the airflow is bothering you, we would be more than happy for you to move to another table where it’s more comfortable. 😊

So please…

🚫 Don’t touch the flap.
🚫 Don’t redirect the air.
🚫 Don’t suffocate the A/C.

✅ Do enjoy the cool dining room.
✅ Do grab a different seat if needed.
✅ Do help us keep Margie’s comfortable for everyone.

The A/C thanks you for your cooperation. It would like to survive another Texas summer. 🫡❄️🤣

Well… I had to fire a customer today. 😅

We have a pretty simple policy around here: treat our team with respect, and we’ll bend over backwards for you.

Rudeness toward our staff or management isn’t something we’re willing to tolerate.

So we refunded the order, kept the cookies, and now they’re available at HALF OFF for anyone who wants to come rescue them. 🍪

Turns out being kind is free… and today it might even save you some money.

🍎 Introducing MONKEY COBBLER! 🐒🥧

Warm fruit filling, sweet dough baked throughout, and a buttery streusel topping that ties it all together. It’s gooey, comforting, and ridiculously hard to stop eating.

Our first flavor is Apple, and based on how good these smell coming out of the oven, we have a feeling they’re going to be sticking around for a while. 😍

🌻 I THOUGHT THESE WERE GOOD. 😬

No seriously.

The first picture is the VERY FIRST sunflower cookies I ever made… and at the time I was ridiculously proud of them.

Now?

I look at them and think, “Andrew… what were you doing?” 😂

But that’s the funny thing about growth.

The work you’re proud of today should make you cringe a little a few years from now. That’s how you know you’re getting better.

Every ugly cookie, every wonky flower, every mistake taught me something.

Those first sunflowers walked so these new ones could run. 🌻❤️

And for that, I’ll always be grateful.
