Well... it's been a little quiet around here.

The last few months, my focus shifted as my family walked through the loss of someone we love. I needed to step back for a bit, soak up time with the people who matter most, and simply be present.

But instead of filling my own bucket with rest... I somehow filled it with ribbons instead! 😂🏅

As I head into the rest of the year, I'm looking forward to spending more time with my family while also dreaming up what's next. Don't worry... I'm definitely not done competing! If anything, these competitions have lit an even bigger fire in me, and I can't wait to see what next season brings.💪

In the meantime, I may throw in some random bake pop-ups, special treats, or other fun surprises along the way!

My **Red Velvet Cookies** are soft, rich, and loaded with goodness — filled with **crushed Oreos and white chocolate chips inside**, then **topped with a half Oreo** for the perfect finish.

Chocolatey, a light crunch and just the right amount of indulgent. One bite and you’ll understand why these don’t last long. 😍

**Bake & Brew – Day 7, No Power Edition**

Day 7 without power.

This snowstorm was brutal. With no main electricity, there’s been no way to bake — which feels especially strange when baking is usually how we cope, connect, and care for others.

Instead of fresh-from-the-oven treats, we packed up cookie dough and brought it to a neighbor who *has* power. This incredible human has been feeding, showering, and giving warmth to so many community members who’ve been without.

It felt right that they should get a sweet treat too.

We may not have ovens on, but we still have community. And honestly, that’s what matters most right now.

Stay safe. Check on each other. The baking will return — and when it does, it’ll mean even more. 🍪☕
