Happy Father's Day from The Millyard Homestead!💙

Today we're celebrating all the dads, grandpas, bonus dads, and father figures who work hard, love big, and show up every day.

We're especially thankful for the dad at the heart of our homestead—the one fixing fences, feeding animals, hauling feed, and somehow still finding time to help make all of this possible.

Now, I have to confess something. Before I met my husband, Aaron, I had never heard of anyone crumbling cornbread into a tall glass of cold milk. Apparently, down South, it's a comfort food staple. A tradition passed down through generations. The first time he suggested it, I thought he had officially lost his mind. 😅

But around here, we've learned that some of the best things in life are simple: homemade cornbread, a glass of milk, and stories shared around the table.

You guys... we are always blown away by your support. ❤️ Even on this yucky, rainy day, you still managed to sell us completely out of bread and leave just enough chili for the chef. 🥣🍞

Our hearts are overflowing with gratitude. Thank you for showing up for our little homestead, supporting local, and allowing us to keep doing what we love.

We'll have the stand open tomorrow at the homestead from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM. We still have a few cornbread muffins available, along with all of your dairy favorites. So if you didn't get your cottage cheese fix today, stop by and see us tomorrow!

🌪️🌧️☀️ Hail, tornado, rain, or shine... we're still here! Due to the weather, we're operating concession stand style today at Storie Family Farmers Market, but all of your favorite Millyard goodies are available.

The chili smells heavenly, and we worked way too hard this week for you not to stop by and let us feed you. If you've been looking for a sign to skip cooking tonight, this is it. 😌🌶️

Need another reason to brave the weather? The cottage cheese is fully stocked too! We may not be able to control the Missouri forecast, but by golly, we can make sure you leave with a full belly and a bag of homemade goodness.

With the rain putting a bit of a damper on market moods, we've decided to postpone our special collaboration until our next market day. We poured a lot of heart into this one, and we want it to get all the excitement and attention it deserves.
