What a beautiful day for the Farmers Market! Every Saturday I leave the market so happy and grateful. The connections and friendships I have made are priceless! I will miss you all next Saturday but be back 9/12!

This is how we get our big fluffy sourdough, my starter is an overachiever. We start with 2L when fed and she grew just over 6L.

Per customer request I asked our jalapeños if they are spicy. From their response, I think they are. Never can be sure though, some jalapeños like to trick you.

Due to poor life choices I’ll be running the Charlottesville 4 miler 9/5. This means I will have to miss the market next weekend. So make sure to stock up this weekend!

Sourdough, cheddar Jalapeño, cheddar everything bagel, Italian Herb and cheese, cinnamon raisin and pesto focaccia. For sweet treats we will have chocolate chip cookies, pumpkin cookies, lemon blueberry scones and pumpkin scones! Come see us at the Waynesboro Farmers Market Saturday 9-1!

Saturday a customer mentioned not being able to afford bread due to funds being low. This absolutely breaks my heart. I started Franny Made to do two things; share my sourdough that I love and to use my small business to be able to give back to the community. If you can’t afford bread, please come see me at the Farmers Market Saturday and I will give you a loaf for free. I’d hate for anyone struggling to put food on the table to pass Franny Made and then go home empty handed.

Thank you everyone for another amazing Saturday!! I’m sorry I didn’t get a photo this morning, but I have one from bake day. Started with 85 loaves, 12 focaccias, 40 packs of scones and 15 cookies and left with one loaf. See you next weekend!!
