Note to self: don't make a batch of 4 dozen lemon cupcakes at one time 😋
Yes, hi, I'm still here! I've been mostly M.I.A from here. (However, I am still available for custom orders. Shoot me a message to order anytime!) As some of you may know, this is a side business for me, so my main job and life were taking up more time this last year.
I would like to reintroduce myself a little bit and share my back story. Baking has always been a passion of mine, which lead to me offering to bake roughly 300 cupcakes for my mom's wedding reception back in 2019. That is when I was gifted the mixer in the picture by my grandmother. I used this mixer to make allll of those cupcakes. They were a hit! And all the way back then it planted a seed.
Now come 2022, I decided to open Z's Sweets as a pop-up sort of bakery at Modern Mercantile (no longer open), along with custom orders. And I put that mixer to good use over the next couple of years! And then, like I said, 2025-2026 got crazy, so the mixer got a nice rest.
But for 2026, I'd like to put that mixer to more use! My grandmother who gifted me this mixer passed away earlier this month and I love that i got my business with something that was hers, like she had a little piece in this all along. 💕
